DID YOU KNOW?...
Ed says, I'm a 4th generation native Californian, and have been married 35 years, (this time is the last time!), to my lovely wife Beth. Between us we have 3 children, 12 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. I have been a motorsports fan for over 50 years. I spent many days at Drag Strips and Dirt Tracks in my teens and 20's, also going to several races at Riverside International Raceway in the 70's and 80's. I remember seeing all the last generation great drivers and even Rick Hendrick and Richard Childress driving there. I also went to Ontario Motor Speedway before it was torn down, and to the inaugural Formula 1 race at Long Beach in 1976. I would love to see a Cup race at Bristol, Richmond, and Daytona. Unfortunately in 2013, I went over the handlebars of my Trek Racing Bicycle, going downhill at 40 mph, after suffering a front tire blowout. That rendered me a C4 spinal cord injury quadriplegic, but I’m still alive to play here and love auto racing!
