DID YOU KNOW?...
Lou Demian is the President and founder of Lucky Dog Racing. He created the league on Feb. 17, 2004. He wanted to start a league because of his love of NASCAR, thrill of competition and felt like doing a little something different from all the other online fantasy leagues. He did a lot of searching and realized there are lots of really badly run leagues out there. Some are good, but the bad ones out number the good by far. He hopes Lucky Dog Racing can become one of the elite leagues out there. While he could have hundreds of people in the league, he feels that a more tight-knit league with a limited amount of members in each series, provides for much better competition. It also allows him to devote more time towards stats and extras for each series. Quality over quantity is his philosophy.
He's gone to 18 NASCAR races so far. Seven times to Dover, four times to Pocono, twice to Charlotte, twice to Daytona, Bristol, Michigan and Richmond. He's also gone to a few races at the local track, Wall Speedway. He enjoys attending comic cons and has met quite a few celebrities and obtained their autographs. He has a huge collection of Blu-Ray's and an ever growing Pops collection. He also has a nice collection of Dale Jr., Dale Sr. and quite a few autographed diecasts.
Lou married in November 2004 and shares in the interest of NASCAR with his wife, Gwen. They have 2 cats named Oliver and Charlotte. Lou originally chose Best Buy as his car sponsor because he's always shopping there. Later he switched over to Oreo Cookies for the 2006 & 2007 season. Pepsi Max sponsored his car from the 2008 to 2011 seasons. From 2012 to 2017 it was his favorite beer, Blue Moon. In 2018 he switched to the series title sponsor, Monster Energy and then later to Angry Orchard
