Champion Driver - Dean Higley Champion Team - Lucky Dog Racing For season five, the LROC series saw the loss of FASCAR but gained back an old friend, The Cool Pool who participated in the first season of the series. The rules and amount of races remained the same. The series adopted a fixed deadline every week so there would be no confusion when picks were due. There would also be no worries for a team if a member missed picks, the team owner would be able to submit in their place. The driver would finish in last place but the team would receive full points. Lucky Dog Racing finally won their first team championship after 5 seasons. Their driver Dean Higley would also go on to win his 2nd driver's championship and become the first 2 time winner. Each team would place a driver in the top three spots. Finishing behind Dean Higley was Kevin Sullivan for the Cool Pool. Fred Moore finished in 3rd place for P10 Select. Both Lucky Dog Racing and P10 Select tied for most team wins with 7 each. P10 Select placed the most drivers in victory lane with 9, Lucky Dog Racing had 8 and The Cool Pool had only 1. Ed Blackman won the most races for a total of 3.
