It was early February, and I was getting myself ready for another season of NASCAR. I was looking around to see what other pools looked like for the season, and I came across an awesome looking site. "Lucky Dog Racing" was the title, and it caught my eye instantly. Not only did the site look professional, but I could tell the owner put many hours into it.
Looking around, there were many great things to see. Player Stats, Team Pages, Past Results, anything a player of this league would want to see. I was surprised, not only for all of that, but because the pool was not even one year old yet. It only started at Bristol 2004.
I signed up for the pool instantly, and sent in the $10.00 for the "Money Pit". I look forward every day to checking out the site, as there is something new almost every day, whether it be new stats, news, or team cars. I check it all out. Although, I'm still waiting to see the #212 Mountain Dew Chevrolet!
With the addition of the Lucky Dog Busch Series, you can almost expect the pool to get many more players, as there was a large number of people on the Nextel Cup Waiting List. There are some new rules in the Busch Series, which will also incorporate the Truck Series into the pool. Very Cool.
Hopefully I can pull a Carl Edwards sometime soon: win a Busch and Cup race. I'd probably pull a muscle however, if I tried a flip off of my car.
