Curt says "First race attended was at Austin Speed-O-Rama on a Saturday night. Shortly after that went and saw A.J. Foyt win a USAC Stock Car Texas 500. Also attended USAC(Indy Car) won by A.J. Foyt in his #14 COYOTE and Johnny Rutherford at Texas World Speedway."
After moving to Colorado, attended Races at Colorado National Speedway where Rick Carelli was a local. Before long they build Pikes Peak International speedway which was a awesome mile oval. Got to see Truck and Busch races. Jeff Green and Biffle ran good there. I loved that speedway, something about that mile oval made it really fun to watch. Also attended Concord N.C. for the Coca-Cola 600 week and have attended many races at Michigan International Speedway."
