The Chaser Eraser Contest Is Only Available To Chase Drivers!
How To Play:
The object of the contest is to pick the highest finishing chase driver for each race.
For the first 5 races of the Chase, you will choose 2 Chase drivers. The highest finishing driver will give you points for their finishing position. If they win the race, they will get 43 points. The points will go down for there, with last place receiving just one point. There are no points for leading laps. The other driver won't give you any points and will be eliminated. You can use a driver for the entire Chase until that driver is eliminated.
For the final 5 races of the Chase, you will choose 3 Chase drivers. The highest finishing driver will give you points for their finishing position and the 2 lowest drivers will be eliminated.
At the halfway point of the Chase, the bottom 8 drivers are eliminated. Once a member is eliminated during the Chase, they will also be eliminated from the Chaser Eraser regardless of where they are in the Chaser Eraser standings.
If a member picks a driver that has already been eliminated during the Chase for them, they will receive 0 points for that week. Eliminated drivers for each member are displayed on this page. The 2nd driver that they picked will go down as an eliminated driver. If they choose two drivers that have been eliminated, the highest driver in the NASCAR standings that they have not yet picked will be eliminated.
Each player must pick 2 drivers in the first half and 3 in the 2nd half. If they don't choose enough... the highest driver or drivers currently in the Cup standings prior to that race will be unavailable to them for the rest of the Chase. If a player picks more than the allotted amount of drivers that week, only the highest driver or drivers in the standings will be used.
If a member misses three weeks of not submitting picks, they will be removed from the Chaser Eraser.
The winner of the contest will receive a special award on their page, receive a free year in the Cup Series and be offered a spot to play in the LROC Series the following season. Note: The winner of this contest can only be invited to LROC if there still is an open spot. If the LROC champion is a Lucky Dog Racing driver and they did not qualify for next season by any other means, they would get the spot.
Additional Note: The winner of this contest will receive a free year in Cup but Nationwide and Truck leagues cost additional fees if you are playing in them next year.

Dean Higley wins the Chaser Eraser thanks to Harvick
Dean Higley was probably rooting for Kevin Harvick this year since he won Dean the Chaser Eraser championship this year. Harvick ended up winning the race and since every members had him as one of their picks, it turned out to be a non-factor for anyone trying to make any passes. It was a very tight race going in and if any other driver had won the race then it would have become very interesting.
The only way that Dean could have lost the championship was if Jordan Hunt had past him in the Cup series standings. Jordan did gain on him a bit in the final race but he ended the season in 6th place and Dean was 4th. Since they tied in points, Dean wins the tiebreaker. This is the first time that Dean has won the title and he joins his teammate Stephen DiCaprio as a winner.
Dean will get another award on his driver page and receive a free year in the league as well. We will have to see if a spot becomes available for him on the LROC team since all six spots are already claimed but anything is possible.
