R.J. was born and raised in Youngstown, Ohio but has resided in Vero Beach, FL since 2002. He was married to his wonderful wife, Amy on April 15, 2015. He has also worked for 10 years in professional Baseball at the Spring Training homes of the Los Angeles Dodgers and New York Mets in a multitude of positions. He is an avid fan of Baseball and the Dodgers.
R.J. was originally a member of Lucky Dog Racing as far back as 2006 in the Xfinity Series, along with the Cup Series from 2007-2011. He made his return to LDR in 2015 in the Truck Series and is hoping to return to Cup in the near future.
