Then Put Your Money Where Your Mouth Is!! The Money Pit is an optional competition between league members who wish to wager for money in the Cup, Xfinity and Truck series. Enrollment is not required to play in the Lucky Dog Racing League. The standings points that you receive from your picks each week will be your points in the money pit. You can only play in the money pit for the series that you are a member of. Please read below for details and payments for each series. Cup series members can also pay their yearly membership fees further down the page. Donations are also accepted at the bottom as well.
TiebreakersIn the event of a tie in points at the end of a segment, the tiebreaker would be decided in this order:1. most wins within the segment 2. most top 5's within the segment 3. most top 10's within the segment 4. most points in the last race of the segment Money Pit payments updated 2-3-24
PaymentYou can make your payments for the money pit via two ways. You may mail a personal check, money order to the President of the league's home address.The address is: Lou Demian 12 Sequoia Court Marlton, NJ 08053 If you are sending a check or money order, please include a note stating your name, team name, and exactly what you are paying for. Prices of Money Pit Options Cup Series: One segment of the money pit: $15.00 / Full season: $60.00 / Championship Fund: $10.00 / All-Star race: $5.00 Xfinity Series: One segment of the money pit: $10.00 / Full season: $30.00 Truck Series: Full season of the money pit: $20.00 You may also use Paypal to submit your payments. If you are a Paypal member then you can send the payment directly to me. Just add everything up and please put a memo for what you are paying for. You can send it to my email of loudemian@gmail.com. If you're not a Paypal member you can still use the service to pay by a credit or debit card. Unfortunately Paypal charges a % for receiving credit card funds. The added funds are 2.9% + .32 cents extra. The additional funds have already been added to the amounts listed. Note: When you add one option to your cart, it will take you to Paypal, but you can go back and add as many as you want. Please be sure to only select the options for the leagues that you participate in! See below for the Non-member paypal links.
Payout PercentagesThe payout percentages with 8 or more players in a Cup series segment will be:Winner: Receives 55% of the total pot 2nd place: Receives 30% of the total pot 3rd place: Receives 15% of the total pot The more people that join, the larger the pot will be. If 15 people join, the total pot for a segment will be $225.00. $123.75 will go to the winner, $67.50 will go to 2nd place, and $33.75 will go to 3rd place. NOTICE: If less than 8 people sign up for a segment, the entire pot will go to the winner. If more than 8 people sign up, 2nd and 3rd will take a portion too. Rules For playing in The Money Pit or Cash Challenge1. You must be 18 or over to play.2. Payment must be received in full before each event. 3. THERE ARE NO REFUNDS unless a money pit segment does not take place. If you leave the league or are removed for not submitting picks, you will not receive a refund of your money. 4. If you are joining the league late, you can still sign up for the next full segment of the money pit. Please e-mail the President if interested.
Donations Although they aren't required, league donations help fund the league even more. The president of the league does not make much of a profit, the Cup membership funds cover the website fees, the cost of the trophy and other prizes during the season. All of the money pit funds are paid straight to the winners, the president does not receive any cut. If you feel that your experience in the league warrants an extra contribution, please feel free to do so! It will be much appreciated! Lucky Dog Racing is not intended for gambling purposes and may not be used in any form of gambling. Lucky Dog Racing, through its staff at Lucky Dog Racing, will make all final decisions regarding any questions arising from the game. We reserve the right to disqualify or take other action against anyone suspected of manipulating, tampering or otherwise altering the game, its scoring or the outcome. Participants must be at least 18 years old. We reserve the right to cancel the season any time prior to the first race and provide all participants with a complete refund of their registration fee. Refunds will not be provided to any member who leaves the league after the start of the season for any reason. We reserve the right to use all prize winners' names and likenesses for publicity purposes and without further compensation. Lucky Dog Racing does not provide refunds if a member chooses to leave during or just prior to the season after payment has been submitted. NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. Void where prohibited. Lucky Dog Fantasy Racing has the right to disqualify any entry not completed correctly, not received on time or with insufficient funds. Lucky Dog Racing reserves the right to change the rules if such a change will benefit the players as a whole.
